DID YOU KNOW THAT BY 2020, MILLENNIALS WILL COMPRISE APPROXIMATELY 75% OF THE WORKFORCE?
Millennials value purpose over paycheck and expect their leaders to be coaches, not bosses. According to a recent management study, 56% of employees would turn down a 10% raise to stay with a great boss. Stay ahead of this disruptive shift. Workforce dynamics are rapidly changing as baby boomers retire in droves and millennials move into more senior roles. If current leaders don’t adapt to this transformational shift, their organization’s growth is at risk.
Start your New Year by getting social, enhancing your network and learning paradigm-shifting strategies from world-renowned experts on how to ignite your organization’s growth: attract, retain and transform your millennial workforce into leaders or become a next level millennial leader yourself.
Hear from the author of the Leadership Curriculum for the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, Google’s talent retention team and leadership development experts who advise small, medium and Fortune 500 companies at the #LeadershipDayPGH #NextLeaderNow panel. Afterwards, specific breakout sessions tailored for your generation’s greatest workplace development challenges will give you tools and strategies that you can implement immediately.
Pittsburgh native Buddy Hobart is a pioneer in the millennial leadership arena, having authored the first book to offer new solutions for how leaders must evolve their management strategies to attract, engage and retain millennials. His work has earned him national media attention in publications including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and more. Fast forward to today: five books later, Hobart speaks internationally on the topic and even lectures at the U.S. Army War College, teaching senior military leaders about millennial leadership strategies. This month, Hobart’s Pittsburgh-based management consulting company, Solutions 21, will open its fourth office in America’s most rapidly growing millennial city, Nashville, as they incubate their Next Leader Now program, which trains top-talent millennials on how to become executive-level decision makers.
